Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Demonstrating key leadership behaviors in line with client Leadership Model
- Ensuring that all activities and operations are carried out in compliance with Corporation, compliance policies as well as the local regulations and laws governing business operations.
- The Account Executive prepares a budget on client level and formulates strategic account plans for each client with clear objectives, actions, owners and sales targets
- The Account Executive will create, implement and maintain a reliable sales forecast summary (Revenue Engine) for all clients; also providing a clear indication of potential business opportunities
- Evaluates the client satisfaction levels and gives feedback to the Commercial Manager and/or the CEO.
- Is the primary contact towards clients
- Initiate and close new business opportunities from potential clients and network
- Prepare client plans and co-ordinate the overall end-to-end service delivery to agreed standards
- Manage renewal, retention and growth of existing accounts with effective client relationships
- Is a team player: works with other colleagues on an individual client or a portfolio of clients to ensure that relevant information is shared among appropriate individuals and required actions are taken to meet client needs
- Is in charge of cross-selling to other client business lines
- Takes ownership for any customer issues within client portfolio, escalating as appropriate
- The Account Executive is in charge of fee negotiations.

-Background in financial services or insurances is required
-Strong sales background.
-Knowledge of industry developments and trends, products and services in insurance on an (inter)national scale; including risk advisory, insurance brokerage, specialty insurance underwriting and reinsurance.
