Job description, responsibilities and duties

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive company Jaguar Land Rover in the Nitra. We are hiring for the positions of Process Engineer - Topcoat.

  • Support development and maintenance of Control Plans and associated paperwork within process area in Topcoat (Primer, Spray Booth, Contrast Roof , Limestone, WAX application)
  • Support development, successful implementation and ongoing compliance / improvement of MQOS (Manufacturing Quality Operating Standard)
  • Review and concurrence of QPS (Quality process sheet) and WES (work element sheet) on a calendarised basis
  • Responsible for all Process Documentation
  • Provide technical and process support to manufacturing
  • Implement and maintain key process measurements to support improvement projects
  • Support line trials and permanent process changes
  • Liaise with suppliers for material improvements in terms of quality
  • Interact closely with Paint Application team
  • Incoming quality improvements
  • Support Quality and Environmental Leader with vehicle specific quality issues
  • Drive Process, Facility and Quality improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Management all chemical product within area including all documents needed (MSDS, etc…)
  • Support for internal and external plant audit and assessment as required

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

  • 3 + years’ experience in paint application technology
  • Ability to analyse the needs of both internal and external customers
  • Have the ability to visualise and explain the current status, issues and solutions
  • Self-starter with the confidence and ability to work on own initiative
  • Enthusiastic, with the motivation to achieve goals
