We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Supplier Technical Assistance - New Model Launch Engineer.

The STA function is responsible for the capacity and quality performance of all new product and current vehicle suppliers and performs an important role within the Purchasing Department. The NML engineer is focused on delivering new product introduction industrialisation in the supply base.

Main Responsibilities:

APQP Delivery as part of the Module Business Team:
- Operate as part of the cross functional module business team (Purchasing \ Engineering \ STA)
- Support development of and delivery accuracy of supplier industrialisation timing plans
- Drive supplier delivery of STA owned elements of APQP to required timing
- Drive robust manufacturing feasibility assessment of new products
- Drive robust PFMEA & Control Plan development in supplier manufacturing process
- Lead STA owned elements of the supplier engagement process for priority supplier work streams

PPAP Approval:
- Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions to confirm all requirements met according to company process

Launch Support:
- Operate on-site in supplier facilities as required during launch preparation events, pre-build phases and during production launch

Capacity Validation:
- Validate supplier capacity planning for new product introduction & capacity confirmation \ uplift on current car production
- Validate supplier manufacturing facility capability to support volume requirements

Required education
Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)
Driving licence
Personality requirements and skills
- Strong working knowledge of New Product Introduction tools (APQP & Phased PPAP highly desirable)
- Experience in manufacturing \ quality \ supplier development functions of highly technical industries (Automotive, Aerospace, FMCG, Engineering)
- Self-motivated & able to work on their own initiative, often away from home office as the senior representative of the Company in a supplier facility
- Languages - Strong business knowledge of English is required. Business knowledge of Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian or German is desirable
- Full Driving license with no restrictions for driving within Europe
- Qualified to degree level within engineering or business discipline
- Willingness to undertake regular travel
