Job description, responsibilities and duties
Job Description:
Operational monitoring and support
Change management: preparation, acceptance testing and implementation of application related changes.
Performance management low level: execute database performance analyses, assist in application performance related issues and testing;
Problem management: manage and resolve technical database problems (1st and 2nd line).
Security management: database user management using standard tools.
Configuration management: maintain and keep up to date the configuration management administration.

Academic working and thinking level
Minimum Diploma in IT or its equivalent multiyear experience in
database administration: Oracle (Version 7 and higher) plus experience with DB2 UDB (Version 8 ), or MSSQl is an advantage
Good working experience with Unix operation systems is required.
Hands-on experience with HA-Clusters.
Knowledge of ITIL processes, ITIL Foundation Preferred
