Job description, responsibilities and duties

• The Data Governance Specialist is responsible for consulting, developing, implementing and overseeing all Data Governance related projects, acting as a trusted advisor

• The Data Governance Specialist will evaluate concerns in governing data, including problem definitions, opportunity and solution recommendations, and root cause analysis.

• Evolving and managing cross-functional processes to ensure data integrity and compliance across numerous and diverse user communities

•Advise and/or develop data governance models and processes using approaches such as master data management and reference data management.

•Perform data quality monitoring/analysis/measurement.

• Report on data quality based on findings

Personality requirements and skills

For your work you will need:

• At least 2 years of working experiences in Data Management projects, specifically where Data Governance frameworks were applied;

• Experience with Data Governance tools (e.g. AbInitio, Collibra, Ataccama, Alteryx Connect, Informatica)

• Experience with definition and creation of Conceptual Model, Data Domains, Business Glossary, Data Dictionary, Data Lineage

• Experience with Process Model design using Process modeling tools using BPMN notation

• Analyzing as-is state of Data Governance processes and designing new target processes and organization structure

• Experience in application and certified in Data Governance methodologies, e.g.: DAMA DM-BOK, ...

• Experience with data quality concepts, data quality metrics

• Oversight of data management goals, standards, practices, process, and technologies

• Experience with data warehousing, business intelligence, and metadata management is an asset

• Experience with SQL

• Analytical thinking, well organized, consulting spirit, willingness to learn

• Very good English language skills

• Enjoying working with data
