EDI Specialist (Automotive Supply Chain)

We are looking for an EDI Project Support Specialist who will play a key role in ensuring smooth, reliable electronic data exchange between our automotive client and their extensive network of suppliers.

If you enjoy connecting systems, coordinating with partners, and solving technical puzzles that keep the automotive supply chain running seamlessly — this role is for you.

•Coordinating and managing EDI onboarding processes to ensure smooth, stable integrations with suppliers

•Preparing test data, communicating with trading partners, and supporting the creation of operational documents needed for successful connection setup

•Collaborating with third-party EDI providers and new trading partners to implement both existing and new EDI processes

•Troubleshooting and correcting ASNs (Advanced Shipping Notices) following client guidelines, including supporting suppliers with test ASN structure issues

•Handling communication with suppliers, performing EDI tests, and coordinating activities across multiple internal and external stakeholders

•Maintaining strong working relationships with all trading partners and providing EDI support to internal teams and vendors

•At least 5 years expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) within the Supply Chaing management in automotive industry

•Hands on experience and expertise in at least 3–4 of the following EDI area:
•VDA standards: VDA4905/VDA4913, VDA4984/VDA4987
•Message types: DELINS, DESADV (ASN), VFN, call-off, order, order-response, APERAK
•Technologies: OFTP2, IDoc

•Ability to provide guidance and consult suppliers based on documentation and guidelines
•Basic SAP knowledge (e.g., WE02, WE60, WE63, WE20)
•Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar
•Strong communication skills — the role is roughly 30% communication (email/phone) and 70% technical work
•Technical mindset and excellent coordination skills
•English language proficiency (B2 or higher) – written and spoken
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project management, Information Technology, or related field


Nice to Have:
•German language skills are highly welcomed — you will often read and respond to emails in German (speaking ability is not required)

1 560 - 3 300 EUR/monthAccenture offers a competitive compensation package. As required by the Slovak law we hereby state, that the legal monthly minimum gross base pay ranges from 1560€ up to 3300€ depending on your professional and personal qualifications in the required areas.
