Oracle Database Administrator with German

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our growing technology team and ensure the performance, stability, and reliability of mission-critical databases within a large-scale financial environment.
You will play a key role in maintaining our Oracle infrastructure, optimizing database performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and efficient solutions.

• Diagnose and resolve database errors and issues
• Execute deployment scripts and manage database updates
• Administer and optimize database storage
• Perform data exports and imports as needed
• Monitor database performance and adjust parameters for optimal efficiency
• Oversee and verify backup jobs
• Develop and maintain comprehensive database documentation
• Conduct regular audits and security checks
• Collaborate closely with Linux and storage teams, database programmers, and web developers

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience administering Oracle databases on UNIX/Linux platforms
• German language proficiency B2 or higher
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL scripting; ability to automate routine DBA tasks
• Solid experience with backup and recovery (RMAN) and performance tuning
• Familiarity with database monitoring tools and performance optimization
• Basic understanding of Unix/Linux shell scripting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with focus on reliability and efficiency
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; team-oriented approach
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations (shared schedule within the DBA team)

Salary
