• Initiation and coordination of monitoring projects
• Creating architecture for monitoring solutions
• Communicating with customer stakeholders, including leadership, support teams, and system administrators
• Creation of monitoring business cases and other inputs needed for monitoring process
• Creating of automating workflows
• Finding solutions for different data ingestions (Kafka, Prometheus, SAP, Grafana, MQ, Azure...)
• Working on a project to ensure monitoring solutions implemented
• Developing new capabilities for our clients across multiple industries beyond static reports in Splunk
• Implementing application, infrastructure, business processes and KPI monitoring solutions
• Ingest, explore, and visualize data
• Performing application and infrastructure analysis and troubleshooting
• Performing optimization of existing clustered Splunk deployments
• Provide best practices in the adoption, expansion, and operations of Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud
• Recommend and execute improvements to the existing Splunk architecture and design with growth and scalability in mind to optimize performance, stability, reliability, and agility
• Responsible for reporting on current infrastructure status and planning for future usage
• Investigate alerts and anomalies and participate in incident response.
• Operational support of the CI/CD pipeline in the area of monitoring and logging

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering
• Familiar with ETL and Data Cleanse and Integration
• Experience working with complex application environments, with the ability to understand relevant sources of machine data, such as performance logs, application logs, audit logs, security data sources, network-centric data, etc
• Several years of hands-on experience in Service Monitoring-Tools (experience in Splunk is highly preferred, experience in Nagios, Spectrum, open source is also an advantage)
• Knowledge of Git/Jenkins as well as other tools for automation solutions
• Professional experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
• Practical experience of cloud concepts either using AWS or Azure
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and log formats
• Experience deploying / managing monitoring solutions, platforms, and technologies
• Good communication skills
• Advanced English, spoken and written

Salary
1 800 - 3 000 EUR/monthAccenture offers a competitive compensation package. As required by the Slovak law we hereby state, that the legal monthly minimum gross base pay starting from 1 800 € to 3 000 € depending on your professional and personal qualifications in the required areas.
