POSITION
DESCRIPTION

The Service Delivery Lead will work as a key member of the Europe Procurement Plus team on the Accenture Internal Account. Within this position the candidate will be responsible for leading a team of cca 50 FTE based in Bratislava, Prague and Iasi Delivery Centre, which delivers Sourcing and Category Management, CX operations (contractors) and Procurement Operations services to multiple countries in Europe.

WHAT WILL
YOU DO

• Lead and manage the Delivery Centre Operation team (approx. 50 FTEs) as a high performing Procurement Plus Europe operations. Drive service delivery through maximizing team and individual performance.
• Attract and retain high quality procurement talent into the Delivery Centre team.
• Lead and motivate team through agreeing clear roles and responsibilities, and setting of achievable goals aligned to the above objectives. Review team and individual performance against these objectives on a regular basis.
• Identify and implement training and development plans for the team and individuals to ensure the achievement of the above objectives, and also the individual development needs of each team member.
• Ensure team is fully conversant with Accenture Procurement Operations processes, as defined by the Accenture “Operational Excellence” methodology.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of processes and related systems to effectively perform responsibilities
• May make decisions about the day-to-day operation of the group, including management of work assignments, staffing and scheduling. Includes adjusting work hours as necessary to meet deadlines, e.g., overtime, evening and weekend hours
• Manage workloads to ensure even distribution of responsibilities and provide development opportunities, when available, with assistance from Team leads
• Identify and assist with development of support materials for team use, e.g., training manuals, role aids, and views in databases
• Prepare and analyze complex reports/information and formulate conclusions
• May act as a point of contact for senior client representatives
• Anticipate, identify, and assess complex issues/problems. Develop and implement a corresponding plan of action to bring the situation to resolution. Communicate changes to Team leads and assist other team leads with resolutions, as needed
• Required to direct work within clear budget guidelines
• Plan and facilitate weekly (as required) team calls/meetings. May present and facilitate at group meetings and new hire integrations; may develop presentation content
• May create annual team objectives with supervisor approval. Monitor and coach team to meet objectives
• Ensure completion of time and expense reports for self and team members per policies. Maintain accurate records for chargeable time to client projects

WHAT WE
EXPECT

• Strong leadership and communication skills, analytical and data management skills and process management and improvement skills
• Strong understanding of latest Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Good financial and budgeting skills i.e. able to build, manage and deliver operational budgets
• Fluent in written and verbal English to an international standard. Able to converse in English at a professional level with colleagues who are non-native English speakers i.e. Germany, Spain, France
• Strong academic education, at least to Undergraduate level. Ideally to master degree level.
• Able to play a credible leadership role in a virtual international team of Procurement professionals. Able to operate successfully in a complex matrix environment with multiple reporting lines and stakeholders.
• Occasionally need to work flexible hours to catch people in other time zones.
• Strong international and cross cultural experience and aptitude
• Minimum 10 Years’ experience desired, due to the complex and challenging nature of this role. Quality of experience more important than quantity.
• At least 3 years of managerial experience.
