• Business requirements gathering and fine tuning
• Solution(s) design
• Solution(s) implementation and R code development as well as testing (SIT, UAT)
• Gathering required input data and transforming it into application input format
• Setting up application workflow and production cycle, executing application runs
• Documentation development, and
• Providing business consulting / advice to business application users.
• Role covers responsibilities related to Life liabilities and Life business risks simulations as well as Risk based return measure. This is the business facing role.

• Fluent in Business English, German would be an advantage
• Experience in IT / IT educational background
• High communication skills allowing business discussions, ability to understand business point of view
• Ability to transform business requirements into sound statistical/quantitative software/application solutions
• Experience in software development, testing and bug fixing
• Experience/Familiarity with AGILE / SCRUM software development methodologies
• Ability and willingness to learn
• Good knowledge and experience with:
• R programming language (knowledge of other statistical packages would be an advantage)
• SSRS
• MSSQL
• Experience / ability to prepare of software technical documentation and users manuals
• Experience/familiarity with Life insurance would be an advantage
• Experience/familiarity with Insurance Risk Modelling would be an advantage
