Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting projects for clients,
  • Set up and optimize accounting processes for the client and support the client from a methodological point of view,
  • Independently manage of all accounting transactions for the client,
  • Reconciliate more complex accounting transaction,
  • Process and audit of the VAT return (in specific cases, the tax return is prepared with the help of a tax advisor),
  • Prepare year end accounts and reconcile the closing operations,
  • Communicate with the client (primarily in German language),
  • Prepare accounting reports for the client and other institutions,
  • Monitor legislative changes and suggest practical implementations,
  • Produce articles for marketing purposes on news and changes in accounting.

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

  • Degree in Accounting, Economics or relevant,
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a field of complex bookkeeping, ideally with experience in a Shared Service Centre,
  • Knowledge of German language at an advanced level is a condition (communication with client in German language), English language is an advantage,
  • Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) at the user level,
  • Knowledge and experience of working in DATEV software
  • Experience in setting up/ innovating/ streamlining accounting processes,
  • Pro-client orientation,
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills,
  • Responsibility for assigned projects for clients,
  • Logical, analytical, and systematic thinking,
  • Ability to meet deadlines,
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
