Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for Senior HR Business Partner for ABB Slovakia. You will partner with the relevant leaders to understand business drivers and the current and long-term strategy, and to identify opportunities for HR to add value to the business. Develops and implements people strategy through the execution of HR processes, ensuring effective and sustainable workplace relations, and providing HR support for a defined team or location, by partnering with respective managers.

Your responsibilities:

• Act as strategic HR Business Partner to business managers by embedding HR strategy/priorities and providing professional HR support and advice.
• Support managers in the implementation and follow up on performance man-agement activities including performance improvement, oversight on the per-formance appraisal process, and training identification needs, and succession planning. Provide managers and supervisors with coaching and guidance re-garding HR processes.
• Collaborate closely with Talent Partner to ensure a sustainable talent pipeline in the organization considering internal Talents and external market.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, HR policies and other compliance standards in all areas of responsibility.
• Represent HR in the workplace, build partnerships between employees, HR and Managers.
• Participate in HR Projects. Implementing change management actions and con-tribute to process improvements.

Personality requirements and skills

• HR related degree or qualification combined with at least 5 years of senior HRBP experience; solid HR expertise, including employee relations, organiza-tional development and staffing, compensation, and performance manage-ment.
• Strong knowledge of local labor legislation.
• Fluency in Slovak and advanced written and spoken communication skills in English.
• SAP and Workday system experience is an advantage.
• High level of initiative with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
• Change management/facilitation skills.
