Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Analysis specialist position serves as a link between finance department and Operations. The role includes overall ownership for financial and operation analyses and reporting processes used at Operations team, ensuring the leadership team understands the impact of operating performance on financial results, and driving a culture of continually improving on operating performance. This position is exposed to confidential financial statements, product costs, and the strategic initiatives of the Company.
Controlling and reporting
• Develop, manage and (continuous) improvements of production analyses.
• Responsible for complete and accurate daily, weekly and monthly reporting to Op team.
• Analyzing of budget vs actual costs; providing explanation on financial figures
• Project control; monitor, track and manage existing and new projects
• After calculation of strategic decitions.
• Benchmarks against internal and external companies and set up KPI´s for that.
• Analyze variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
• Provide for a system of Op management cost reports and progress.
• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations as well as working capital.
• Identify process gaps, savings, proposed and recommended solutions
Compliance
• Developing and maintaining internal procedures and policies in order to maintain strong internal controls at operations sites.
• Provide guidance and training to team on internal procedures and policies

Personality requirements and skills
• Fluency in Slovakian as well as the English language;
• Strong analytical and proven statistical knowledge and experience required;
• Excellent communication skills required;
• Demonstrated leadership and influence;
• 3-5 year relevant direct accounting or finance work experience in a manufacturing or re-manufacturing environment.
• 3-5 year experience in production controlling mandatory (preferred automotive industry)
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles, including International Financial Reporting Standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as applicable
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
• Knowledge of country and local financial regulations for Slovakia.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
• Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting
• Good working experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
• Good working experience with ERP systems, SAP experience is a preference, esp CO/FI, MM, PP, AM, IM+ data collection systems
