• Design and implement scalable service architectures using Java and Vert.X on AWS.

• Operate production software with Nomad, Consul, Grafana, and Prometheus.

• Integrate Third-Party providers and services into a leading Sportsbook product.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into resilient, and scalable application solutions for real-money gaming.

• Work with a transactional system for Sports betting and Casino that powers one of the largest european Markets.

• Work in a small team of engineers to deliver business requirements.

• Contribute to open-source software libraries.

• Work with a fantastic team coming from more than 15 nationalities.

• University degree or equivalent in the field of Computer Science, Programming, Mathematics or Physicsis a plus.

• 7+ years of professional experience in hands-on coding.

• Fluency in English is mandatory (German is an advantage)

• Proficiency in Java(or a similar language) with a good understanding of reactive, event-based programming.

• Experience with service protocols like RESTand gRPC.

• Experience with Message Brokers such as Kafka or JMS.

• Expertise in rxJava, Vert.X, resilient microservice architecture, Linux Server, Docker and related technologies for running applications on AWS is a plus.

• Knowledge ofscripting languagesorprovisioning toolingin the context of operating backend services in a cloud environment is a plus.

• Knowledge of AWS services (S3, EC2) and familiarity with AWS architectural best practices.

• Expertise in implementing microservice based systems in a cloud environment is a plus.
