Reserving Analyst for IFRS 17 PAA tool

You will become part of the team based in Bratislava and Switzerland and is looking to expand by one team member in Bratislava. The actuarial team is working on developing actuarial PAA tool for IFRS 17 regime. PAA tool calculates IFRS 17 reserving measures.

As Reserving Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:

• Writing business requirements based on business units request or product owners’ requests for IFRS 17 PAA tool, delivering to IT team based in Barcelona.
• Creating test cases based on requirements for IT departments, product owners and business units.
• Performing UAT tests, Production tests and deployment validation tests, monitoring and reporting defects in ALM system.
• Supporting workflow in ALM system, delegating tasks to responsible person.
• Supporting business units during their testing period.
• Updating and managing relevant documentation (manuals, guidelines, etc.)
• Development of IFRS 17 related reports and visualization.
• Collecting relevant feedback, change requests and suggestions from business units and stakeholders.
• Ad-Hoc support to business units and product owners.
• Frequent collaboration with IT department, product owners. Business units and IFRS 17 team

As Reserving Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include:

• Ability to efficiently communicate with different type of departments (IT, business, actuaries)
• Basic technical capabilities, ability to work with different IT systems
• High excel proficiency, ability to use VBA.
• Basic General Insurance knowledge, ideally reserving area.
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver on time for all expected deliverables.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work in changing environment.
