Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Assisting the team to ensure that accounting processes and procedures are followed and completed to support and reinforce key business objectives
• Supporting various types of general and/or sub-ledger transactions relevant for Group reporting as well local and globally accepted Accounting Principles reporting.
• Prepare or review ledger reports and explain the results.
• Perform or review close related ledger tasks, e.g. accruals, provisions, journals postings.
• Prepare or review accounts reconciliations on timely basis in accordance with Group internal control guidelines.
• Maintain one or more ledger categories/chart of accounts as a regular part of daily work.
• Perform and review SOX controls in line with Group internal guidelines.
• Participate in local projects or initiatives, evaluates potential impact on local reporting units, performs local implementation of changes.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Personality requirements and skills

 • Good accounting knowledge in respect of Sub-Ledger (SAP FSCD) and General-Ledger (SAP)
• Fluent English, additional languages would be a plus
• Good oral and written communication skills
• High degree of flexibility
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to work within tight deadlines
• PC literate with advanced MS Office skills
