Job description, responsibilities and duties

Your SSC Manager responsibilities will involve:

- Performs regular service reviews with key business partner, business partners and SSC management
- Responsible for all SLAs for the respective service pillar
- Undertake Strategic & Operational demand planning & forecasting (with a focus on staffing), & fulfilment of operational demand to approved forecasts/plans
- Plan, monitor and control budget, forecasting and manage actual expenditures and expense levels across own area of the business and hold suppliers to account against contractual obligations.
- Ensure local team adheres to risk and compliance policies, input into BCM plans, monitor consistent    non-compliance issues escalated by other team members, and highlight patterns for senior members of the team to address.
- Work cross-functionally with colleagues across the organization and senior local business stakeholders to gain buy-in and ensure medium-term plans are aligned with business objectives
- Implement people management strategy and resource plan to support the business.
- Engaging as part of Bratislava SSC Leadership Team in branch-wide activities  

Your Head of Capital and Risk Production responsibilities will involve:

- Lead the team of the quantitative analysts performing production of the Capital Models
- Develop understanding of the Capital and Risk Methodology, its processes and data flow
- Run and coordinate key production processes for the Capital Models
- In collaboration with the IT team assure correctness of complex model implementations and its readiness for productive calculations
- Drive continues enhancement of the production processes, including data preparation, reporting, analysis and systems, and documentation of key processes, controls and data flow.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Personality requirements and skills

To be perform the role successfully you should meet following expectations:

- Understanding of the respective area (Risk Management, in particular Solvency Capital)
- Experience in building and managing relationships with stakeholders
- Planning and forecasting experience: financial as well as business demand
- Demonstrate strong analytical background (mathematics, actuarial, statistics, or similar)
- Ability to build, lead, motivate and develop teams
- High level of organizational savvy and ability to deal with ambiguity
- Understanding of governance requirements and ability to apply them into daily activities
- Ability to lead execution of complex processes
