If you have…

- a Master of Computer Science with demonstrated strengths in Mathematics, Statistics, or machine learning.

- solid functional Java and distributed programming experience (2 or more years).

- a curious mind, inherently wanting to understand the world through data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

- the drive to learn new technologies, and the know how to realize creative and practical solutions within an international corporate environment.

- the stamina and precision required to stay on a project and see it through to its successful implementation.

an innovative team of dedicated people that have, over the last 3 years, built up an Analytical big data, Hadoop based, platform. We are integrating data from global data sources and from 12 of our largest operating countries, allowing us to gain crucial understanding and insights from our own data. Over the past 3 years, we have delivered ad hoc analytical analysis for crucial business decisions as well as built up sustainable tools implemented at the business front line.

We are looking to scale up by establishing a local team, responsible for the data integration pipeline, working in a virtual team together with the colleagues in Zurich.

Primary work location is Bratislava – but will have an induction period require an initially stay in Zurich, Switzerland, as well as occasional travelling afterwards, dependent on scope or type of project.
