Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Process engineering support as a core team member (deadline, cost and procedural responsibility)
Creation of a concept design (preliminary stage for basic engineering); Development of PFD and building aids, process optimization,..
Basic engineering; Design of plants and equipment (pumps, filters, tanks), fittings (pressure reducers, regulating and safety valves), pipeline dimensions
Creation of media consumption lists
Specification and design of equipment and units under the terms of international standards (GMP, FDA,…)
Development of process flow diagrams and P&I diagrams with regard to special customer needs
International facility start up
Process and facility qualification and validation

Qualifications

Successful academical graduation in process engineering - Chemical/Food technology or equivalent technical education
At least 5 years of experience in process engineering, in operations, engineering, qualification (biopharmaceutical industry, process industry, food industry,…)
Deep interest in technology, able to understand pharma requirements
MS Office Knowledge - AutoCAD or equivalent is advantage
Fluently English language (C2), German language is advantage

International travel readiness (cca 50 %)

Strong communication and leadership skills
Highly motivated and a strong commitment to effectivity
