Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Collecting, verifying, proper filing and handling of all documents from internal and external business partners, employees, authorities, etc.
• Ensuring accountancy and administration is in line with local legislation incl. Year-End activities
• Transparent reporting according to IRFS standards and HQ guidelines (Monthly Reporting Package) as well as reporting to local authorities (VAT return, Income Tax, Reports for Slovak Statistical Office, etc.)
• Intercompany Reconciliation and Accounting (checking of incoming cost allocations, determining outgoing cost allocations followed by invoicing of these expenses)
• Cash-Flow monitoring (interfacing with Project Controller and sales department, monitoring of payment behavior of customers and related activities
• Treasury management (liquidity status, bank management)
• Budget preparation and forecasting according to HQ instructions
• Acting as an interface between departments with the ability to understand and co-ordinate complex integrated processes
• All on-going, daily financial operational issues and ad-hoc analysis
• Supporting role for Human Resources matters

Personality requirements and skills

The position requires:
• Fluent in Slovakian and English (writing, speaking and technical terminology)
• 5 years of experience in Controlling of an international company, preferably in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of Slovak legislation (Tax, Payroll, Labor Law, etc.)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (in particular excellent knowledge of Excel and general knowledge of Windows)
• SAP and Business Warehouse knowledge (in particular FI and CO modules, knowledge of PS module is an advantage)
• Open attitude in communicating with others
• Taking ownership and initiative as well as showing social competence
• Team player and demonstrate flexibility
• Able to work in Matrix organizations and dealing with virtual teams
