Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- To ensure suppliers achieve the required quality levels, capacity and timing for new program activities
- Lead Supplier Advanced Quality Planning and launch support at suppliers for new program activities
- Initiate and manage Supplier APQP activities according to Operating system with suppliers on a regional team basis in order to achieve Program timing.
- Initiate Risk Assessment process for specific programs
- Lead Supplier Quality interface within Customer Group and plant quality
- Define -together with the Advanced Quality Engineer - the Customer Specific Requirements for supply base and communicate to Supplier development / Supplier Advanced Quality Engineer
- Attend Program Review/Launch Readiness Reviews
- Track and communicate supplier APQP reports to the Simultaneous Development Team on regular basis
- Ensure that Customer, Yanfeng and supplier quality issues are resolved using an appropriate problem solving methodology
- Be proactive in ensuring Suppliers achieve agreed customer and Yanfeng milestones
- Ensure that Suppliers achieve 0-0-0-100-90 Launch objectives
- Responsible for Process sign off & PPAP sign-off at the supplier
- Apply different OEM specific requirements related to audit- (i.e. VDA 6.3, 2 day production) and PPAP procedures (PPAP, VDA 2)
- Ensure effective communication between Yanfeng and supplier

University education (Bachelor's degree)
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
- Professional qualifications in Quality Management and systems or equivalent.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a relevant Quality function, preferably within the automotive industry
- Quality System (e.g. IATF1649), BOS - and Process
- External auditor (VDA 6.3)
- Application of QMS tools and techniques (e.g. APQP, FMEA - Method, SPC, Gage – (GD&T) & Inspection planning)
