Job description, responsibilities and duties

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled data engineer to be part of a small team to build up a cloud based data warehouse from the beginning. You will be expected to work with and understand many different source systems, workflow, ELT pipeline, business use cases and business logic.

You will be one of the first people to join the chief data & analytics officer’s team at Loopia Group (who is stationed in Stockholm). Since Loopia Group consists of several companies that has been merged into one group, this means that we have several platforms and brands.

Here comes the challenge: creating a shared data platform for all of them will be impactful, fun & interesting! The data warehouse, the integrations and business intelligence we would create will act as an important source of truth throughout the group. You will need to be self-driven, problem solving, have a good architectural mindset and be able to go around and talk to colleagues in order to find definitions of all the data there is.

THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO:

- Build a cloud based DWH from scratch; ETL/Orchestration, sources, definitions, tables, stakeholders - all of it
- Work with ambitious colleagues who likes to move fast
- Be part of a multinational company with a lot of ambitions
