Resident Engineer

- lead on-site the analysis of customer returns with design issues using the appropriate engineering diagnostic tools e.g., Scope, Multimeter, CAN Scripts, Climatic Chambers, Debugger/Programmer, etc..
- liaise with the Plant team to provide regular updates of the progress of the analysis and keep the internal Customer Returns Management Tool up to date
- support the “task forces” triggered by critical customer returns ensuring a close proximity with the program team by reporting the progresses to date, providing technical elements to support the analysis, executing the agreed level of debugging and testing on-site
- witness and assist pre-SOP builds of the local product portfolio (includes new programs and running changes)
- prepare and conduct regular Technical Design Reviews with the plant teams
- represent Product Development locally in design related events in coordination with the remote stakeholder, e.g., Design of Experiments, Debugging of the application diagnostic SW layer
- responsible for eliciting and analyzing System requirements and architecture requirements
- developing and documenting detailed Manufactrue Specification ensuring Test Engineering and other engineering disciplines to have a common understanding of the product
