Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a person with interest in professional development and with previous experience in development of web services / REST APIs in cloud environment.
Your responsibilities:
- be part of a Scrum team and actively take part in developing Visma products - yes, we have product not projects
- develop and maintain application software working with established processes
- estimate work effort with task breakdown, and verify approach and estimates with supervisor and team
- collaborate with development team conducting code reviews and providing improvement suggestions
- test affinity is a must, because automated unit testing, integration testing, deployment and a quality gateway are part of our CI / CD pipeline
- cooperate efficiently in an international environment with a team of strong professionals
At least 5 years of development experience using the Microsoft environments, including:
- .NET
- C#
- SQL
- APIs
- Azure
- Agile mindset and experience with Scrum
- DevOps experience
- Test automation experience
- Understanding of Microservices
Personal skills:
- good written and verbal English skills
- enjoys working in the team and international environment
- analytical thinking and self-driven
Regardless of the long list of expectations mentioned above you do not need to be an expert in all areas. Equally important as all tech skills are how you fit the group as a personality.
