Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for the enthusiastic IT candidate with several years of experience in Windows Desktop Administration who likes to learn new technologies and who would like to boost his career in AV/malware area.

You will manage Enterprise Antivirus Solution based on McAffee, Trend Micro and Symantec.

Brief Job Description:
• Administration of centralised AV solutions based on following solutions:
• Intel Security – McAfee
• Trend Micro
• Symantec
• Management of the existing AV Infrastructure
• Handling of virus outbreaks, security incidents, threat analysis, cooperation with AV vendors
• Regular threat reporting and analysis
• 2nd level on-call-duty support in non-office hours
• Working on tickets based on ITIL (Change, Problem, Incident, SR)
• Working on IT-Projects

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary without school-leaving examination
Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Windows - Expert
Windows server administration - Basic

Personality requirements and skills

• Basic Knowledge of Windows OS, both client and server side
• Basic Knowledge of network protocols (IP, DNS, etc..)
• Proactive thinking based on latest virus threats
• Capable of technical analysis
• Strong capacity for teamwork and dedication for work
• Independent, responsible and proactive working methods
• 2 year of relevant working experience
• Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written) German language is an advantage
