Who are we looking for

We are looking for motivated people who are good communicators and have interest in IT and technology and ideally have worked in international IT environment. The role is suitable for candidates with good command of English and German who have at least basic IT background or experience. The ITIL certification is nice to have but not a must.

Purpose of the role

  • Ensures transformation of architecture requirements into infrastructure scope and requirements
  • Mitigates the diffrences between infrastructure scope and service requirements based on Solution designs made by Architecture and Business Analysts in order to scope all service requirements for negotiation with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensures support of Supplier Management and Service Catalog Manager in the definition and maintenance of a service catalog
  • Ensures the Implementation of negotiated and agreed SLAs and OLAs and its measurement
  • Ensures Measurement of SLA and OLA performance continuously


Main Tasks (sorted by importance)

  • Supports Architecture in the transformation of all business requirements into definitions for the scope of services, timelines, hours of operation, recovery aspects and service performance
  • Ensures the Definition, Refinement and Negotiation of SLAs and OLAs with the business units and UITS, ensuring business requirements are met as well as designed services and negotiated SLAs get an agreement from all parties and roles involved
  • Reports measurement results for SLA and OLA monitoring
  • Reviews and reports measurement results for SLA and OLA monitoring continuously and ensures further improvements and refinement of SLAs and OLAs
  • Ensures proper contract terms conditions incl. framework agreement reference and standardized IT-Services
  • Responsible for Supplier Invoice Clarification in case of rejections by the responsible business units or reminders of the vendor
  • Support supplier relationship and governance in a structured way, manages professional claim- and escalation-management process if any commercial or technical issues came up (e.g. missing delivery)
  • Supports the process of supplier selection, evaluation and risk management in all commercial aspects including make or buy decisions, benchmarking, business cases and TCO calculations
  • Supports Finance & Controlling and responsible UITS units during budgeting, forecasting, and annual closing with supplier related costs and contract information.
  • Reveals and reports supplier and contract related cost optimization and saving opportunities and validates and tracks expected business cases and savings
  • Supports supplier service portfolio management with the definition and maintenance of a service catalog including costs related to services

Personality requirements and skills

•Technical background and technical understanding (technical education is not necessary but the candidate should have understanding and interest in technology)
•At least 3+ years of experience from IT environment
•Good command of both English and German
•Good communication skills
•ITIL certification is welcome but not required
•Experience as Service Manager, Contract Manager or Transition Manager is of advantage
