UNIQA Group, one of the best branded Insurance Groups operating in CEE, is looking for motivated people supporting the Actuarial Non-Life team in the recently founded Actuarial Hub UNIQA 4WARD in Bratislava. Your focus will be on continued monitoring and evaluation of the Groups Non-Life portfolios, with a special focus on reserving and risk.

To support our young and motivated team in various tasks during the start-up phase, we are searching for an ambitious, communicative and service-oriented mathematician with a sound knowledge in insurance mathematics/statistics.

You can expect a sound on-the-job training within the Group, with focus on different actuarial practice areas. Also we are offering personal development and a state of the art working environment.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Cooperation in the ongoing monitoring and evaluation process
• Supporting the actuarial modelling process
• Involvement in business unit but also Group tasks
• Collaboration in Group projects
• Development of Group tools and templates with a special focus on IFRS 17
• Know-how transfer and support to the Groups business units
• Collaboration and implementation of Group standards in the subsidiaries

Your required skills and qualifications:

• Actuarial Education (insurance mathematics / statistics)
• 2-3 years of experience in Non-Life with a focus on accounting tasks
• Knowledge of basic modeling techniques in Non-Life
• Excellent know-how of MS Office (incl. Excel-vba), SAS or R of advantage,
• Knowledge of accounting regimes (preferably IFRS 17)
• Fluent in English
• Readiness to travel
