Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Performing all kind of technical development and search for solutions, for their effective implementation in production facilities and manufacturing processes
• Development of 3D models and final construction drawings of steel parts/constructions of furniture based on designs from 3070 design department or based on client’s designs
• Internal technical advisory consulting in the area of production feasibility and construction/design details to 3070 internal team (design department, project managers) during product development phase
• Value engineering – proposing solutions that are cost effective, durable, aesthetically appealing and effective to produce throughout the whole project lifecycle
• Communication with external production facilities to ensure proper understanding of details and construction specifications and highest quality standards
• Purchasing of the developed goods at the supplier facilities
• Production oversight/quality control in the external production facilities
• Pre-installation/Pre-expedition control, preparation of checklists
• Reporting to Product development department manager

- 3 or more years of experience in the area of development of steel construction and drawings.
- Master degree in Mechanical engineering
- Experience with the custom furniture production business/ production and installation of exhibition booths is welcome
- Advanced CAD software user, experience with 3D modeling software (Solid Works, Catia, Autodesk Inventor etc. ), Microsoft Word and Excel advanced user
- Experience in the area of production of steel parts
- Technologies comprising: production of sheet metal products, general machining technologies, cutting, bending, welding, coating)
- Knowledge of contemporary materials
- English language – intermediate or advanced
- B drivers license a MUST
- Master degree in Mechanical engineering
