Job description, responsibilities and duties
Managing Director, medical supplies
Our client is an experienced supplier and distributor of high quality medical disposables. The customers - healthcare providers- value its comprehensive line of innovative quality products provided in a short lead times at competitive prices. Due to its business expansion the client decided to set up a new company in Slovakia with an aim to develop and supply the Slovak market and in the later stage the CEE region.
The job scope:
• Develop business and relations with healthcare providers and private clinics
• Build up a distribution partners network and maintain relationship within the partner´s organisations
• Support the distribution partners in all required sales and marketing activities
• Act as the main interface within the client international organisation (mainly active contact with the purchase and logistics team)
• Set up the relevant internal support processes (customer service, logistics, controlling)
• Hire the local team; coaching and developing
• Full local business P/L responsibility
• In the later stage developing the business in the neighbouring countries (CZ, PL, HU)

• Alternatively a medical supplies distribution provider, a business owner, who would be looking for a strong capital partner for further business development
• Solid knowledge of the health sector in Slovakia, strong contact base in hospitals and cliniques
• Used to having full P/L responsibility
• Independent, mature, entrepreneurial, more “business partner” than “an employee” mind-set, hands on manager with strong commercial focus
• Native Slovak, very good English
• Experienced business manager with proven track record in distribution of medical supplies or pharma, preferably OTC pharma field
