Job description, responsibilities and duties
We have an exciting opportunity to work for a new automotive Company in the Nitra region. We are hiring for the position of Vehicle Quality Manager.
- Responsible for the performance of plant inspection within Body In White, Paint, Trim Online, Trim Offline (OTA) and Customer Acceptance Line (CAL)
- To lead, manage and drive the performance though these areas, across a 3 shift operating pattern.
- Manage the inspection processes throughout the OTA (including WAHA / Rolling Road, Paint Buy Off, Water Test, Squeak and Rattle Track, and CAL inspection) and drive key performance metrics in these areas (e.g. Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale and Environment).
- Oversee the key repair activities to ensure that repairs are carried out to the necessary standard and within time to achieve key delivery metrics.
- Ensure that key Manufacturing external issues (e.g. 0MIS) are being progressed, with adequate containment / corrective action plans in place
- Drive the plants Premium Customer Performance Audit (PCPA) and First Time Through (FTT) metrics, through individual area sufficiency plans, to achieve better than target performance.
- Support the Plant Gate Hold / Stop Ship Process.
- Oversee the Batch and Hold Process during model year launch activities
- Ensure PQ readiness for CAL, SIPs, S&R, and B&H, for all New model launches
