Buyer

You will be responsible for the follow-up activities after SOP, such as releasing PO, saving and modification implementation, tracking progress, escalation activities, as well as indirect purchasing of e.g. CAPEX, scrap or 3D prototyping.     

You will also:
 

• Cooperate with a supplier and coordinate the status and necessary actions of the programs 
• Perform all activities related to the contract, such as productivity agreement 
• Together with a program team execute modification and timing implementation 
• Contribute with ideas that might bring some cost reduction to product VAVE 
• Help production plant with indirect purchasing of material 
• Support initiation and purchasing of CAPEX or other related material needed for the production. 
• Ensure best price agreement for selling scrap. 
• Lead the purchasing of packaging material related to production at plant level. 
• Maintain supplier database for plant level. 

We expect you to have experience in purchasing, logistics or supplier relationship on top of good analytical skills. You hold a university degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or similar. You are an advanced Microsoft Office user (Excel, PowerPoint) who can read technical drawings (basics). International business is nothing unknown to you and your experience from the automotive industry is beneficial.   You enjoy working in a multicultural environment and speak, read and write English effortlessly. German is a big plus. You are eligible of travelling internationally and to customer locations when needed (30-40% of time).

  As a person and professional you are performance driven, self-disciplinary and have good time-management skills. You can work under pressure and towards tight deadlines. You are a team player but can also work independently.

• Basic salary starts from €2,000 depending on experience
