If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Process Excellence team.
In this global role the main responsibility is managing the end-to-end core value chain process of one or multiple allocated lines of business across all locations in scope, plus additional selected global processes.

You will drive process excellence through continuous improvement by working and partnering with the business to identify improvement areas and structuring, planning and leading cross-functional end to end projects from start to completion that deal with operational efficiency, process improvement, technology, growth and compliance that ultimately contribute towards our strategic business targets.

You will be working very closely with the Business Process Owner, the Global Line of
Business Head and build a cross functional network to streamline, harmonize and continuously improve our global processes. This requires in-depth knowledge of processes and systems we use in different locations to identify good standard methodologies and recommend and implement new streamlined and optimized processes and/or systems.

We believe in team work and are looking for someone that integrates well as you will engage with a broad network of experts and actively exchange knowledge, collaborate on, own or support associated initiatives and combined work towards the goal of optimized, fit for purpose and standardized processes.

This includes defining business requirements, collaborating with IT counterparts for system improvement opportunities, contributing to and leading initiative teams, implementation planning, summarizing and reporting out to senior management by preparing presentations and communications, leading implementations to completion whilst keeping track of critical initiative logs. Change management and process adherence are critical concerns to ensure that designed processes come to life in the business and you will be critical to ensuring that this is in place.

Main activities
1. Process Excellence:
• Lead global end to end process standardisation and improvement, reviewing, documenting and where possible aligning best practice globally
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure scalability of processes to support efficient business growth
• Elicit and analyse process related business requirements and areas for improvement
• Analyse, define and document business processes. Complete “as is" and “to be" process flow descriptions and diagrams using enterprise architecture frameworks and tools
• Document global improved standards and local deviations. Work with regions and locations to ensure new standards are understood and followed
• Drive decisions by analysing data and providing insights
• Structure and deliver creative solutions whilst remaining practical, collaborating closely with other Process Excellence Leads and functional leaders
• Ensure appropriate control and quality frameworks are in place for the effectiveness of a process
• Global point of contact for process related topics of the assigned Lines of Businesses and global processes

2. Change implementation
• Ensure our operational model is fit for purpose to support the client offering throughout the geographies and lines of businesses
• Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that processes are understood and adhered to
• Build-up and execution of global and regional change management and communication plans
• Build a culture of process adherence through tracking and monitoring activities and acting on the results
• Active communication with all involved partners across regions
• Ensure process adherence by planning and executing on reinforcement activities
• Active member of the Process Excellence Community to exchange best practices, grow process excellence capabilities and ensure regional alignment

Personality requirements and skills

You have a high tolerance of ambiguity and a tried track record in leading Process Excellence/Process Improvement and/or other relevant enterprise transformational roles. Developing a topic from a vague starting point to a structured problem statement, building consensus, identifying and triggering decision paths and driving the topic to completion independently is key. Experience in facilitating different levels of conversations as a strong communicator will help you in initiating and orchestrating improvement work. You distil and present topics appropriate for all levels of stakeholders and collaborate across all associated functions, regions and hierarchies. You enjoy problem solving, are very structured, detail oriented, build up your own knowledge and expertise in a topic systematically, gather facts and build consensus. You are proficient and self-confident in engaging at senior management level and in creating high-profile executive management presentations, are a highly self-motivated, dedicated leader that is comfortable in dealing globally with different counterparts and cultures. In this global role 'own the way you work' is critical.

Essential:
• Commercial Insurance background
• At least 5+ years of experience in Process Excellence/Process Improvement/Continuous Improvement
• Passionate to explore new ways and challenge the status quo by continually seeking improvement opportunities
• Ability to translate ideas into clear and consistent priorities as well as an easy to understand story line
• Strong customer focus with developed conflict management skills
• Comfortable working across different regions, cultures and time zones
• Strong communication and presentation skills and proficient in PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills and advanced with Excel
• Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional change initiatives with a high degree of complexity
• Ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge and continuous improvement mindset, strong organizing and structuring skills with attention to detail
• A project management and change management leader in planning, structuring, leading and completing cross-functional, global projects
• Hands-on leader and driver of implementation efforts globally
• An excellent manager of partnerships and able to overcome resistance, drive initiative teams and ensure timely delivery

Desirable:
• Agile, Lean or Six Sigma certification
• Management consulting experience
• Project & Change Management certifications
