About the Role:

Are you a catalyst leader passionate about motivating sustained organisational change? Do you enjoy enabling teams and leaders to create safe and fun working environments conducive to learning and growth? Then you are exactly the person we are looking for!

As an Agile Coach, you are part of the shared leadership team for one or more of our teams. In close collaboration with the product and technical lead, you play a key role in positively challenging agile teams to stay focused on business outcomes and delivering customer value. Taking the lead in developing the agile capabilities, you help the team fully capitalise on the strengths of a scaled agile set-up and remain firmly on a path of continuous improvement and learning.

In addition, you are an integral part of the Agile Coaching chapter, and develop and implement standard methodologies tailored to our needs.

As an experienced change leader, you understand the strategic importance of nurturing a strong agile demeanour and enduring agile ways of working across the organisation. Furthermore, you are capable of leading and supporting this journey, seeing opportunities and removing roadblocks where required.

Your main responsibilities:

• Squad Onboarding & Training - ensure that the team is learning and growing in their agile ways of working
• Agile Process Support - coordinate scrum master activities across all Squads and conduct large scale ceremonies (e.g., Big Room Planning)
• Identify & Remove Impediments - drive the efficient working of the team by addressing impediments with other Agile Coaches and key partners
Supervise and develop agile maturity - understand the growth status from an agile perspective, and help develop knowledge and understanding

About you:

As a successful candidate for this role, you possess …

• 10+ years of work experience in an enabling role in a business, consulting or IT related role
• A university degree in applied sciences, engineering or business
• Experience with supporting (agile) transformation in organisations, building teams and driving continuous improvement (incl. providing training and coaching)
• At least one relevant agile certification (e.g. Product Owner, Scrum Master, Agile Project Management, Kanban, etc.) and/or the equivalent hands-on experience in building scaled agile frameworks
• A firm understanding of the Agile manifesto and the principles behind it as well as the ability to apply them in the context of business product/service development
• A passion for learning and continuous improvement, both of yourself and your team members
• Expert facilitator, coaching and mentoring skills and the ability to apply different techniques to create engagement and keep teams focused on the organisational goals
• The dedication to encourage an environment in which people share information and communicate clearly, candidly and openly
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to explain complex concepts in understandable terms tailored to the audience. High levels of empathy so that you can inspire and encourage others
• The ability to mentor the team and drive collaboration and learning to benefit your area and the broader organisation
• Strong executive presence and outstanding written and verbal skills
