About the role
The Department 'Global Centre Operations' of Corporate Real Estate and Services (CRES) is looking for a Global Data Analyst and Business Owner for our Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS).
Offering and delivering services to our internal customers is the core business of Corporate Real Estate & Services (CRES). CRES is globally responsible for Swiss Re's corporate real estate including the management of efficient/functional office environment and the provision of high-quality facility management services to address daily business needs of our clients.
The demand of our customers for innovation, intelligent design and outstanding quality paired with state-of the-art technology is growing rapidly. We don't just want to keep up with the growing expectations - we want to be ahead. In this role you are a crucial driver when analysing and modelling our CRES data as well as when acting as Business Owner of our Facility Management System.
As Global Data Analyst in the capacity of 40-50% you will be responsible for:
• Supporting the CRES organisation by embedding data governance and establishing the right processes that leads to continuous high-quality data.
• Transforming CRES data on stargate into insights to enable our internal CRES partners to drive their business and make decisions
• Organizing and streamlining the process with which data is collected, shared, utilized, protected, cleaned and stored
• Overseeing the access management framework of the different data sources
• Assessing system performance and liaise with our internal partners (e.g. IT, Governance etc.)
• Acting as key interface between CRES Regional and Local Data Management Specialists and the Governance Team
• Evaluating the design, selection, and implementation of database changes by comparing them with business requirements
• Continuously suggesting ways to improve performance and efficiency.
• Closely collaboration with the Global Reporting Expert
For the other 40-50% of your capacity you will be acting as Business Owner for our central and comprehensive platform for CRES.
As Business Owner for IWMS you are responsible for:
• Developing and mentoring the team of existing module owners (Real Estate Portfolio Management, Space & Facility Management, Maintenance Management, Sustainability & Energy Management and Capital Management) to continuously refine the vision and requirements of each module with focus on Maintenance Management
• Overseeing and further enhancing the product strategy, planning and forecasting of the product
• Refining of the overall backlog together with all module owners and ensuring that user requirements are collected in the respective QBRs
• Contributing to further define the product vision by communicating with all relevant functions including partners and customers
• Ensuring that end of life applications and/or applications that are redundant are decommissioned to achieve the agreed cost targets
• Adapting and anticipating customer needs, developing the roadmap and is looking into market trends
• Provides input for business cases that further harmonizes our application landscape
• Closely collaborating with the Product Owner of OpsDPD

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or in the field of Facility Management
• 3-5 years of experience in data management or analysis, experience in Facility Management an advantage
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize large amounts of data
• Superb communication skills to translate sophisticated problems using non-technical terms
• In-depth understanding of modern database and information technologies (Planon an advantage)
• Familiar with business intelligence concepts, and ability to collaborate with end users to define metrics and business requirements
• Good attention to detail
• Experience with agile methodology (preferably as business analyst and/or product owner)
• Hands-on mentality, strong solution orientation and empathy (ability to collaborate effectively with team members, express leadership, supporting your views and ideas while being open to different opinions)
