About the team
The Architecture Center of Excellence (CoE) team has been established to bring standardization across all CorSo applications, increase our architecture level and improve DevSecOps practices.
In close collaboration with project teams the Architecture CoE helps educating engineers on everything public cloud related.
The team also helps with high level architecture and design for applications that are migrating to the cloud.
About the role
As cloud solution engineer you'll combine software development, networking skills, business domain know how and apply agile architecture principles to build high-quality, cloud-native applications.
Your responsibilities:
-Together with application squads you use design thinking techniques to empathize with our customers on their journey and find innovative solutions to tackle their problems.
-You embrace and spread the DevSecOps culture in application squads, automate everything and enable continuous delivery of high-quality and valuable features at a very fast pace!
-With a strong focus on developing API-centric apps and knowledge of the digital ecosystem you can help integrate solutions with ease.
-You'll support the implementation of apps that will amaze customers by their simplicity.

• Vast experience in agile software engineering and cloud architecture
• Full stack developer with years of experience building modern, cloud-native architectures and applying software development patterns
• Proficient in either Java or .Net core and TypeScript
• Experience in Azure DevOps with an Infrastructure-as-Code approach (Terraform)
• Deep understanding of Azure's public cloud offering
• Solid understanding of modern authentication/authorization protocols such as Open ID Connect and OAuth2.
• Strong API controller design and implementation skills
• Experience designing/building resilient microservice architectures
• Knowledge of technologies on the CNCF landscape map
• Excellent communication, people management skills and efficiency when working with senior management and key external clients is important
• Strong analytical skills and able to join your own creative ideas and those of others. You can do this on an abstract level and engage in details to ensure ideas are realistic and pragmatic
• High commercial competence when driving business-technology decisions
• Experience with integration technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ is a plus
