Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a CFO Office Senior Manager, based in Bratislava and reporting to the Head of the CFO Office Corporate Solutions. The role comprises three main tasks: to run the operations of the Finance Function, to support the delivery of strategic initiatives and to help build up new Finance capabilities. The operations aspect of the role includes a broad range of responsibilities such as orchestrating our Finance Townhalls, managing the organisational structure or maintaining the Function's information sharing platform. Apart from managing operations, you will act as a project manager, consultant and problem solver for strategic initiatives that can be Group-wide or smaller scale projects. Our third focus area is building new Finance capabilities, and we are looking for a person who can advance our digitalisation efforts in, for instance, the Finance Governance field.

This role will give you an excellent overview of and insight into the workings of a Finance Function and our business in general. You will interact frequently with colleagues across the Business and Group Functions, providing you with a great platform to have an impact and strengthen your profile.

Personality requirements and skills

• University degree with a primary or masters’ degree, preferably in Finance, Banking or Economics
• Consultancy background and/or project management experience
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Strong communication skills, particularly the ability to summarize complex technical issues to non-expert audiences, both written and verbal
• Personal accountability and ownership for your work.
• Approaching daily work with a strategic and client centric mind-set
• The ability to build trusting relationships and to work independently
