Through the audit work we can understand company´s end to end processes and business itself in order to identify gaps and help company to create a higher value in many areas. Audit work can help individuals to improve their professional skills based on their needs and interest.

About the Team
As a new member to the team, you will join EMEA Chapter Auditor´s Community and get the opportunity to learn about Audit environment and get to know skilled Audit professionals from different countries. You can bring your knowledge from accounting, finance or economic background and will have the opportunity to work with various partners across Group Internal Audit and the business, be part of critical initiatives and gain a lot of practical experience, skills and knowledge from the field.

Key responsibilities:
- Support in auditing various topics across Swiss Re from preparation through execution to reporting.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of business processes, governance, risk management and internal controls of our clients.
- Perform testing of Financial Reporting Risk (FRR) controls and be a part of the planning process and coordination for FRR. Additionally, you will help on the administrative side to make the FRR process go as smoothly as possible.
- Continuously develop your technical know-how and your soft skills through on-and-off-the-job training and acquire in-depth knowledge of a wide range of topics.
- Work in a diversified team in an international network and receive regular feedback from colleagues.

This is a temporary position for a maternity cover.

Personality requirements and skills

We are looking for a colleague who will:

- Have a university degree in accounting, finance, or economics or relevant work experience.
- Have a quick grasp and a flair for analytical thinking, especially with regards to the connection of business topics and business processes.
- Have excellent communication skills
- Are motivated, team, client and goal-oriented and want to take on responsibility from the beginning and work in a coaching and feedback culture environment.
- Ideally have some work experience in audit, another assurance function or just be highly motivated to learn, professionally and personally develop and contribute to the team with your ideas.
