Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for candidates who will support Corporate Solutions underwriting units in their daily business tasks.
Within a fast-paced environment, this role provides you with a chance to define your own decisions when dealing with complex underwriting tasks. Did we catch your attention?

Core responsibilities:

- High level of interaction and coordination with team members
- Work closely with underwriters, specialists and other departments in order to handle tasks on time with high quality
- Prioritize the workload to meet timeliness and accuracy requirements
- Review insurance documentations for accuracy and completeness and reflect corresponding terms and conditions into systems
- Create and maintain electronic records following established guidelines and processes
- Make sure the data entered have supporting documentation attached
- Maintain and update the risk information
- Deliver timely and accurate business processing also during peak times
- Become involved in projects/ initiatives, trainings, etc.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Regularly monitor the contracts which will be due/ are due for processing
- Compile, sort, review and verify data accuracy using source documents, detect errors, and follow-up with client or process owner regarding any inconsistencies found.
- Enter and maintain information in systems and tools, including documents, process changes and associated tasks
- Follow-up on outstanding documents or items, per guidelines
- Perform assigned rule-based tasks following standard operating procedures
- Perform other position related tasks (e.g. participation in projects, initiatives, etc.) as instructed by Supervisor

- Bachelor's Degree/Master's degree
- Knowledge and understanding of Re-/ Insurance business and awareness of administrative procedures and general economic principles is a plus
- Proficient in English (reading, written and verbal)
- Other European language (at least general reading comprehension) is a major advantage (German, Dutch, or any other untypical language is welcome)
- Profound digital literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Package is encouraged

- Ability to interpret the terms and conditions of the legal documents
- Applies knowledge to technical and processing tasks through daily activities and responsibilities
- Ability to work both independently or collaboratively while prioritizing and multitasking in a constantly evolving environment
