About the team

The Global Finance Organisational Change (OC) team is focused on developing an integrated approach on organisational change for Finance globally. Our team aligns, activates and enables impactful change, relevant capability development and the target culture to prepare the Finance organisation and our people for the future.
About the role

As part of an agile multi-disciplinary OC team, you will work with the team and contribute to developing and deploying solutions on Change, Culture and Capability. Based on your profile and experience you will have the opportunity to take the lead for specific areas/initiatives, in collaboration with other colleagues and consultants.
Main responsibilities

CHANGE

Align, activate and enable organisational change across the Finance organization


Collaborate with programmes/projects to gain information on ongoing organisational change needs and related impact
Contribute to an integrated organisational change view to facilitate effective planning and development/delivery steering
Support alignment across Finance to enhance effective change approaches, tools and methodology
Align effective change approaches and plans for specific initiatives/needs, and enhance change enablement of specific target groups (leaders, all employees, specific units and locations, learning activation)
Evaluate the multidisciplinary and end-to-end impact of proposed change initiatives

Culture

Unlock the Finance target culture by anchoring Swiss Re agility, leadership behaviour and values across teams


Collaborate with programmes/projects to gain information on ongoing culture change needs and related impact
Collaborate with partners and HR and contribute to develop the sought target culture, to ensure that it is embedded in all people-related artefacts (recruiting criteria, job descriptions, onboarding, development, etc.)
Support culture activation events in collaboration with the activation and communication specialist
Ensure that all OC activation, communication and content are aligned to the sought target culture
Evaluate the multidisciplinary and end-to-end impact of proposed culture initiatives/interventions

Capability

Activate capability development and learning and develop aligned capability infrastructure


Support the assessment of current/future capability development needs in close collaboration with the OC teams, programmes/projects, and Finance leaders
Improve overall capability levels through development/deployment of enhanced learning activation and content delivery
Participate with multiple partners to further develop the capability development infrastructure, including training portfolio, learning curricula and career paths
Evaluate the holistic and end-to-end impact of capability development and learning approaches on employees, and contribute to a plan to close gaps over a multi-year period

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

About you

University degree or equivalent qualification
4+ years experience in programme/project and change management, ideally in an internal/external business consulting, change/transformation role
Proficient written and verbal command of English (other languages a plus)
Detailed knowledge of change management principles and methodology, with practical experience gained with change/culture/capability programmes/projects
Eye for business gained in the re/insurance, financial services industry, with experience in a Finance/control function a plus
Strong communication and storytelling skills
Ability to think analytically, link activities to successfully deliver integrated change, and in solving complex problems
Good lateral leadership and partner management skills
Strong organisational, project and time management skills
