About the role

Are you a driven and curious individual who wants to make a difference in the insurance sector? Would you like to learn more about Public-Private Partnerships and support a team of Client Managers in accessing new insurance risk pools? Swiss Re Public Sector Solutions works with governments, NGOs and development banks. As a Market Coordinator you will work in a multifaceted and international environment.



Your responsibilities

Sales support: Elevate client impact by providing Client Managers with market-relevant support

- Working hand-in-hand with Public Sector Solutions client managers based in the Europe and Middle East area to manage client relationships and execute on origination efforts
- Conducting market research and data analysis to support our salesforce in crafting strategy papers and client pitches
- Producing high-quality marketing material and briefing documents for client meetings
- Setting up the agenda and bi-lateral meetings of recurring client events, such as World Economic Forum conferences
- Actively planning branding and marketing activities, incl. building event overviews and related expense impact
- Coordinating with client Cross-functional teams to service the client
- Building up an understanding of the spectrum of Swiss RE's products and services and how they can address our clients' needs.

Strategy & Operations: Increase team's efficiency through strategic and operational support

- Working with cross-functional teams from other regions with the goal to help them implement their initiatives
- Coordinating internal communication such as quarterly newsletters and reports; maintenance of the Public Sector Solutions internal websites
- Helping with analyzing team performance and track important metrics
- You will provide compliance and governance related support (e.g. audits, monitoring of action items, etc.)

Administrative support to the Regional Leader in EMEA

- Setting up global team meetings (e.g. quarterly town halls or information sharing calls)
- Setting up client webinars working with event management and communications team
- Collaborating with our Team Assistant and Business Analysts on helping out with calendaring and agenda setting, travel and expense reporting, meeting organization or alike.

About the Team

Public Sector Solutions develops insurance concepts together with the public sector, including sovereign and sub-sovereign governments, NGOs, and development banks. We access Swiss Re's full product range to reduce the public sector's contingent liabilities. Solutions include non-traditional risk transfer products, such as parametric natural catastrophe solutions and weather-based insurance or traditional insurance and reinsurance products such as liability coverages and life and health reinsurance. Public Sector Solutions works directly with governments and public sector entities, through development institutions as well as through conventional insurance channels such as local insurance companies and brokers.
