Senior IT Business Analyst

In this role, you will work as part of our Integrated Risk IT team which is maintaining the existing application eco-system, developing new capabilities and adapting our applications to an ever-changing landscape. You will develop into a trusted partner, working directly with our business counterparts on diverse technologies, tools and processes, such as Java, TypeScript, Oracle, MSBI, SQL, Python, Matlab, Palantir, DevOps, agile development, CI/CD etc.
Our team together with you is responsible for the Integrated Risk Analytics and Modeling platform which is a critical system to support sound decision-making for our business functions and management including regulatory reporting.

The role includes (among many others) the following duties:

• Analyze, contribute and drive the development and maintenance of our risk management platform
• You manage end-to-end interface changes to and from the Risk DWH
• Being a key person in demanding projects for Risk Management
• Assess new and innovative technologies and help us implement them to evolve our platform
• Be an ambassador for innovation on topics such as smart-analytics, DevOps and more.
• Respond to, and handle complex issues
• Help to embed our culture of continuous improvement
• Close coordination of tasks with multiple business and development teams in other international locations

About the team

You will be working with an international, dynamic and diverse IT team providing change and new developments for serving Swiss Re's Group Risk & Analytics function. The diverse set of functions and applications, operating in a landscape that never stands still, ensures that no two days are the same and offers opportunities for the keen learner to absorb and get exposed to key processes in Risk.
