Job description, responsibilities and duties

As Release Manager you will play a pivotal role in the IT partner onboarding growth of iptiQ. We promise the freedom and space you need to be creative, show off your skills, and grow your expertise. Your role & responsibilities

Act as catalyst for success & positive relationships with multiple engineering teams while leading high-quality code delivery to our clients
Own the pipeline & release management process coordinating and communicating status of deployments, (future) release windows & support lifecycle across teams, clients and vendors
Improve release quality and CI/CD operations, own acceptance criteria for Production Go-Live and continuously monitor those criteria and other release critical metrics
Continually improve the release deployment technology & process with DevOps and QA colleagues
Handle risks and resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule and quality
Maintain a release repository and key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
Mitigate production downtime through proactive monitoring, triage and solving of production incidents reported via Level 1 and 2 support teams
Conduct incident post-mortems to identify root-causes and implement findings

Requirements for the employee

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Required skills:

3+ years of release management experience in an agile environment
Sophisticated knowledge of software development lifecycle
Familiarity with Atlassian tools, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins and AWS/EKS
Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, skills in situational awareness, conflict resolution and focus on increasing transparency
Proficient English skills both spoken and written
Intercultural competence, strong communication skills, solution orientation, ability to learn and flexibility
