This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry-leading global brand and dynamic and future-forward HR team. The role will play an integral part in reinforcing and growing Swiss Re's employer brand for the EMEA region.

As an Employer Branding Consultant you will interface directly with departments across the business such as communications, marketing, specialist functions within HR as well as our partners in our core re-/insurance business. You will work in a virtual team to build, craft and deliver branding initiatives across the region.

Do you have recruitment marketing expertise, and extensive expertise in social media? The ideal candidate must have a strong experience in brand management, supporting our positioning as an "Employer of Choice" to our current employees as well as to prospective hires. You must be imaginative, efficient and ready to establish high-impact social media and (digital) recruiting campaigns. On top of that, you need to be enthusiastic, function admirably on teams and have the capacity to adjust rapidly to a fast-moving circumstances.

In your role as Employer Branding Consultant you will be member of EMEA Regional HR leadership team, working closely with the regional Head of HR and the responsible team in countries to ensure we are maximizing Branding opportunities within the Region EMEA (major locations Switzerland, Slovakia, United Kingdom, Germany) in seamless alignment with the global Employer Branding priorities.

You will do this by ensuring you:

Develop and oversee regional employer branding strategies
Plan, establish and supervise the company's social media employer branding presence in region EMEA
Understanding and analyzing labour market trends and developing for general, generational and other target group-specific insights
Screen and survey social media trends, ensure that marketing and recruiting goals are adjusted, using innovative as well as tried and tested methods
Utilize data to measure impact, develop and drive Employer Branding improvement goals
Establish relationship with leadership teams to align branding philosophy and priorities with the strategic direction of the region's growth, providing tools and engagement support to equip them with best practices in using social platforms for employee advocacy
Serve as a facilitator, project coordinator and subject matter expert on branding related initiatives and projects, working as part of a global community of practice with the Centre of Expertise
Apply judgment in tailoring initiatives and interventions to context and specific requirements of the region and countries within the allocated budget
Support/drive any change management required to successfully execute the agreed upon strategic plan.

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

You are a true teammate as this role requires close collaboration and interaction with many colleagues and partners, inside and outside.


You have a proven track record in roles within Human Resources or Marketing with an in-depth knowledge of employer branding topics and techniques. We are specifically looking for someone with sound understanding of the 'branding landscape and challenges' in the Region EMEA.


You demonstrate interest in future centric culture and work topics, enjoy embracing 'the unknown' and are digitally savvy.


We encourage your application if you have:

3 to 5 years' experience in employer branding, social media promotions and/or recruitment

Good understanding of recruitment processes and the ways that employer branding, social media and recruitment marketing can impact the candidate experience and deliver results

Experience in using metrics and data to demonstrate success in growing a company's employer brand, and stay on top of industry changes and trends

The ability to zoom in and out between strategic and tactical, from articulating a vision to execution.

Ability to collaborate across diverse teams, locations and regions

Ability to build and implement project plans with autonomy and drive progress while operating within budget and resource requirements and with minimal or no supervision.

Ability to embrace ambiguity and acts as driver even under adverse circumstances.

Experience in working in global organizations in an informal and agile team set up, comfortable in working in a highly matrixed organization with multiple decision makers.

Experience in communicating effectively with senior stakeholders

Experience in counselling and advising to guide strategic branding decisions across multiple levels of management.

Graduate degree (Master's Degree), with major ideally in either one of the following fields: Human Resources, Marketing, Advertising or related fields

Proficiency in English, good command of any further language is a clear plus.
