Job description, responsibilities and duties
About the Role
As Senior Finance Professional you will be responsible for our global accounting and finance processes related to investment assets. You will prepare and analyse weekly Profit & Loss movements for various investment assets, help to determine the investment assets' accounting classification and treatment under USGAAP and the applicable statutory standards, carry out testing and accounting implementation for new types of assets, set up and monitor static portfolio attributes, analyse and carry out accounting treatment for our equity method investments and various other global tasks. You will bring fresh perspective; challenge the way we work and improve processes. Partial involvement in accounting/finance/reporting projects may also be required.
Main duties:
• Prepare and assess the weekly Profit & Loss movements related to investment assets. Investigate deviations from expected movements to ensure quality of data. Instigate corrections with relevant team(s) if necessary. Respond to ad hoc queries from upstream teams or management.
• Carry out accounting assessment for equities, infrastructure assets, etc.
• Set up and monitor static portfolio parameters, data management.
• Carry out VIE assessment, equity holding and CTA review for our global investment assets balance sheet, monitor global impairment process.
• Carry out analysis of underlying financial statements for equity method investments. Prepare accounting valuations/pricing under USGAAP and applicable statutory accounting standards.
• Review external and internal management fees. Assess against schedule of fees in management agreements, explain and resolve discrepancies.
• Participate in finance/reporting/accounting projects as required.

• You have a university degree in Economics, preferably Accounting or Finance/Banking; CFA or ACCA is an advantage
• Your Finance or Accounting experience is a plus
• You speak English fluently
• Your MS Office skills are on proficient level (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point)
• You have strong analytical and conceptual thinking
• Your knowledge of investment reporting and accounting systems is an advantage
• You are a person who enjoys working in the team
• You have great time management skills and adherence to deadlines
• You are flexible and open for new tasks/challenges & you are willing to learn permanently
• You have the ability to work independently without close supervision
• You are good with verbal and written business communication
