About the Role

Are you looking for an opportunity in IT where you can apply your technical skills and help your team to success? The Digital Workplace team is seeking SharePoint Migration Expert.

As a SharePoint Migration Expert, you will be working on an exciting project to move content from on premise SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. Working with the rest of the SharePoint team you will be analyzing SharePoint sites, SharePoint content, and then reviewing and fixing any migration issues/problems in order to move that content into SharePoint Online, or file shares (cloud or on premise).

You will have proven experience working with SharePoint and collaborating with customers in an advisory capacity.

In your engagement, you will be:
-Monitor and check SharePoint migrations
-Work /Operate the migration tool (Content Matrix from Metalogix) together with existing codebase to execute migrations
-Assist in resolving defects that occur as a result of the migration process (3rd level support)
-Review and perform manual migrations from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online as needed
-Use cutting edge tools - Power apps, Power Automate (Flow), Azure
-Collaborate directly with SharePoint Site Owners to ensure their requirements are met for migration
-Consult with internal customers on the use of O365 services in the area of content management
-Work with your colleagues to build up the "Migration as a Service" team

What do you need as a successful SharePoint Migration Expert?
About You
-Must have minimum 3 years of SharePoint experience (preferably a recent version including SharePoint Online)
-Experience managing SharePoint site collections, sites, webs, pages, lists and libraries
-Experience with managing SharePoint user groups, permissions and access rights
-Experience in analysing large sets of data and requirements
-Office 365 experience is a plus (Specifically SharePoint Online)
-Experience working as a Share point administrator
-Experience in working with AGILE SCRUM is a plus
