About the Role
Are you interested in software quality and processes, and how to maintain it using tools and processes while still studying? Join the Risk Management IT Solution Development & QA Team.
• Test applications based on different technologies (C#, .NET, .NET Core, Java, TypeScript, Angular 6+, Oracle, MSSQL, PowerBI…)
• Create automatic tests (in Katalon, JMeter)
• Enhance existing DevOps pipelines (Git, Bamboo, Azure DevOps)
• Close collaboration in an international software development team (Bratislava, Zurich, London)

About the Team
Our team provides IT services to our internal customers within Swiss Re. The RM IT Solution Development & Quality Assurance team consists of software testers, application and information engineers. We work in multi-functional, agile teams on delivering IT solutions in close collaboration with end-users.

University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

About You
• University student of computer science or related field
• Intermediate knowledge in any of following technologies: Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Selenium, JMeter, Groovy
• Intermediate knowledge RDBMS related technologies, SQL (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Any experience with CI/CD tools, public cloud environments (e.g. Azure, AWS), BI tools is a plus
• Open and passionate to learn new technologies & skills
You should be:
Analytical - Solving business problems using own initiative, within parameters of own role.
Client oriented - Aware of the importance of internal and external clients, understands their needs and works with them to meet these. Focuses on delivery, meeting deadlines and providing high quality service.
Team oriented – able to collaborate with others and contribute as part of a high-performance team, as opposed to working independently or competitively, in order to achieve a common goal.
