Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for hardworking candidate to take on exciting position in the Finance Reinsurance Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) which includes tasks and responsibilities in all areas of Financial Controlling and reporting within a highly dynamic business environment. The role covers the Life and Health Reinsurance business for the EMEA countries.
In this role, your focus will be to support senior Analysts in preparing the quarterly financial reporting, business volume projections and key performance indicators, for the region in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
Key accountabilities:
-Prepare quarterly reporting packages under various accounting valuations (US GAAP, EVM)
-Help with preparation of annual Business Plan, which includes updating the volume and profitability in the planning system.
-Support preparation of the quarterly variance analysis by populating the figures for all EMEA countries
-Extracting data from the financial systems, building standard reports using Microsoft software tools, organizing the figures to meet reporting requirements and reconciling the figures
-Develop quantitative data controls and reconciliations to ensure a high level of data quality
-Establish strong working relationship with our key business partners and act as a strong team member
-Find opportunities to improve efficiency and/or simplify data validation/processes, take personal leadership to make a proposal and initiate implementation
-Ensure that all work is documented, and audit trails with evidence for review is being maintained.
-Undertake specific financial projects and ad hoc activities as required by the business

-Strong command of English (written and spoken)
