Abou the Role

Technical accounting department is part of the core business operations within Swiss Re. Our people receive accounts from clients, analyze and process documents and bring cash in house. The quality of our work is a mirror of Swiss Re reputation and it is instrumental to the company's growth in all markets around the world.

If you want to start your carreer in global reinsurance leader and learn about reinsurance business, our department is the right place for you to start.

You will get a chance to work on a portfolio of clients from different markets worldwide, analyze the data they provide, learn about technical tasks that we do and communicate with clients.

Key responsibilities:
• Administration and booking of data
• Daily use of Swiss Re tools, applications, and MS office package
• Running and prepration of reports and analysis of various data
• Communication and collaboration within the team and other departments,
• Cooperation on agreed client portfolio (after training)
• Ad hoc tasks

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

About You
• We are looking for University student (Ideally in the area of economics /management/business administration, but we also welcome candidates from other programmes)
• English language – fluent written and spoken (other language is advantegous)
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Flair for numbers
• Friendly and good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take on challenges
