Branch Controlling Specialist with English and German

As a member of the Carrier Reporting & Analysis Services team you will prepare and report financial information of the legal entity's branches for US-GAAP and local accounting standards to senior management as well as to tax, regulatory and other governing authorities.

Main tasks:
• Execute the quarterly close of the US-GAAP and local financial statements by monitoring the closing process and performing quality assurance activities and provide accounting guidance
• Support external audit activities and prepare requested information in connection with internal audits
• Gather and review analytical information from other teams as well as perform analytical procedures for all valuation to understand the individual branch's story line
• Provide comprehensive financial and variance analysis and business commentaries with respect to reporting, monitoring and reconciliation activities according to management and client requirements
• Prepare on a quarterly or annually basis qualitative reporting to senior management or other internal clients on US-GAAP and local accounting standards as well as reporting to tax, regulatory and other governing authorities on local accounting standards, in particular interact with group tax & tax authority
• Ensure that we execute on high-quality, robust processes for all reporting deliverables, in line with existing Swiss Re processes and deliverables for our already well established carriers
• Contribute to improve processes and systems to ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and audit requirements, and also to meet internal management expectations
• Establish a network and closely collaborate with the respective professionals across the organization

About the team

We are looking for a qualified and highly motivated Branch Controlling Professional to join our Carrier Reporting & Analysis Services team. Jointly and in close collaboration with the Carrier team in Luxembourg, the team will play a pivotal Finance role in the preparation, analysis and reporting of financial information for all valuations of one of the biggest legal entity including its branches of Swiss Re Group.
