About the role
As Head Reward Global Solutions you will be responsible for leading all Swiss Re Group Compensation programmes to include the deferred cash and equity programmes along with the operational requirements of the Swiss Re Annual Compensation Review. In addition you will be responsible for driving the capabilities for reporting and analytics capability within Reward.

You will be responsible for the global strategy, governance and principles relating to the international mobility framework at Swiss Re. You will work closely with HR Leaders to ensure the IM framework supports the Swiss Re workforce strategy.

You will ensures optimal client experience in all matters relating to the Swiss Re reward portfolio.

The Head Reward Global Solutions' key responsibilities include:
•Help drive the people and project agenda within Reward, ensuring that an essential focus on development of Reward is sustained
•Forge effective partnerships within and outside of Reward- ensuring a cross functional and engaging workstyle
•Support Reward in crafting and delivering services and products that support the company’s strategy as they concern Reward
•Be responsible for the overall management and delivery of the Swiss Re Compensation programme portfolio, to include the Annual Compensation Review, deferred cash and equity programmes and Swiss Re's International Mobility framework
•Ensure operational excellence, competitiveness and plan(s) alignment with both external market practices as well as the Swiss Re Group Reward Policy
•Provide authoritative guidance on all matters relating to the Swiss Re Compensation programmes. Acting as the point of contact and partner concern for more complex case management
•Lead a global team of experts who work across various Reward teams and Reward managers providing consultative, operational and analytical support
•Prepare key communications including plan rules, policies and global templates
•Ensure the compliance of specific Reward processes and controls that support the Swiss Re Governance Framework
•Maintain the relationship with key vendors
•Monitor and manage programmes ensuring all tax, legal, compliance and statutory requirements are met
•Establish close partnerships with the broader HR community, Group Tax, Finance to ensure optimal and compliant client service
•In partnership with Reward colleagues, provide support and training of Reward Compensation programmes ensuring successful and compliant delivery of the Reward framework within the Swiss Re locations, to include country statutory withholding developments
•Display motivational leadership and team management

About the team
The Reward team (currently in 6 locations) seeks to provide premier Reward solutions for Swiss Re (in key matters of Compensation, Benefits and International Mobility) that are compliant and sensitive to business, risk and financial requirements as well as aligned to the Group Reward Strategy. It is a Centre of Excellence with a passion for quality, supporting the delivery of an integrated service for HR and the Business on all matters of Reward. This is an interesting and challenging opportunity with an active management role of two HR disciplines, comprising of circa 20 team members, providing the creative and compliant execution of Swiss Re global Reward deferred cash and equity programmes and International Mobility. In addition, supplying to the engagement and growth of the global Reward team as a member of the Reward Leadership Team.

Personality requirements and skills

Minimum of 10 to 15 years of Human Resource experience, ideally the majority of which has been in a global Reward function. You will approach the role from a business oriented perspective but still remains hands-on. You will have a have a consistent track record of dealing effectively with all aspects of global Reward programmes including international mobility management, immigration and cross border tax awareness, plan documentation, processes, legal and tax issues and system requirements.
